Arus not only saved her life, but he also allowed her to get strong and showed a path to getting even stronger. She also ought to understand already that even if Arus was the one who killed her father, it wasn't personal. If it wasn't he, someone else would have done it. It was the conspiracy, with Lecter initiating it, that truly killed her father. Arus was just a replaceable tool. Of course this doesn't mean she shouldn't still bear a grudge toward him as well, but considering his unwitting role in the crime, I'd say what he has done for her and is still doing for her has greater weight than what he did to hurt her. After all, absolutely nothing forced him to do anything to help her, whereas he was following orders when terminating her father.

Even if she absolutely didn't want to ever forgive him, it might still be wise to get every bit of training out of him. Where else would she get such training? The regular nobles are already well below her because she actually received training normally only available to special operatives or those in extremely privileged positions.

Wtf? Is she basically saying she forgiving him for killing her dad, without him even giving a reason why he did it? If so this author is horrible at writing a story or he knew he wrote himself in a corner by making Ars the killer of her dad with no way out seeing as this is a harem

I get your point but we must also admit the Author had this play out horribly from a readers perspective.

I can agree upon that. More sophisticated readers can infer that what @Kaarme eloquently stated, was what happened. But the manga creators should have delved deeper to explain.

That being said, she’s a noble. A fallen noble in a world where society revolves around nobility politics, power plays fueled by violence, and excessive class politics. In her view, Arus was a tool of violence to murder her father and the mastermind was killed by him. MC ended the entire noble house that ruined her father. Her acceptance of reality may be jarring to IRL sensibilities but it’s at least consistent to the world of the story.

We can definitely have criticism of the abrupt delivery that relies on inferences, but it’s not the worst writing I’ve seen. And I didn’t get the whiplash other readers experienced. But I know I’m older and more experienced in life and have read hundreds of stories that strengthens my ability to infer and decipher these kinds of details.
