At this point i give up in the sea of pathetic excuses of males Japan places number 1, at the very least the portrayal.
I got sick and tired of seeing 7(8) out 10 male leads being insufferable. I've dabbled in anime and manga for around 20 years but around 10 years ago they started to increase the amount of this architype of MC's.

You cannot immerse yourself in something that is very alien to you. For example it's so alien to me that it is the opposite of what i am. It's like MC is a woman in a standard female orientated genre. How can anyone sympathize with losers and weaklings? I think even losers and weaklings do not like this.
When i was overweight i never wanted to play or watch fat MC's, it's like admitting (saying it's okay) and even praising your lack of good dietary choices and lack of exercise. Same as here, even if you are close to this pathetic excuse of MC, you would rather see him grow and be better instead we see him submerging deeper and deeper.

It's hard to read something that is so unnatural for me. Reading chapter after chapter my mind wants to take action instead of MC but i feel tormented and subdued by authors story. A prisoner who is forced to watch something that you yourself would never allow to happen.

In essence it's masochist/cuck manga, after writing this I finally got it, if it wasn't authors intention, author is bad if it was, objective achieved.

I think every manga now needs a new category masochist/cuck, it seems Japan has this new trend wave and i'm a unwilling participant in this. It was always underground thing but i see more and more coming to surface. At first it was just some elements in the whole manga but now i see a trend a whole officially published mangas standing on M/C themes.

guess: she's probably a slut or she go out with someoneehos good boy but did horrible things to her then she let out her frustration on our mc manipulating him to doing the exact thing to what other guys did to her and he's going to know this and hit us to " i can fix her" ahh arc pretty mid ngl so with the pacing they're gonna keep making the mc suffer or let her manipulate him up until i guess 60 chaps then there's where the real story begins
