I feel the same way when reading it in japanese. If I didn't have prior experience with Kansai-ben, I'd have no idea what he's saying half the time.
I wanted to somehow express his dialect without just relying on elision (omitting a vowel, consonant or syllable) like I do with Hachibe, so I took a page out of the english localization of the "Yakuza / Like a Dragon" videogame franchise, which is why there's even more elision (e.g. him to 'im, them to 'em etc.) with additional use of slang and swearing (Namari does actually swear).
(But I removed my occasional elision of for to fo', it feels excessive in hindsight.)
