Adventurers in this city are more like mercenaries based on how they feel so disconnected with the populace. It's as if they're the types that can be hired to defend a city with one job and then will without question sack the same city if hired to do so by another.
The unbelievable part is how they act like kindness was a completely foreign concept to them until Raust told them to help the city folk with the materials they get.
Another seemingly contrived event to continue Raust's image rehabilitation. I wonder if the corrupt guild has anything to do with this.
