When I started reading this manga not too long ago, I thought it was going to be the male lead going adventuring with a new party like what other stories in the subgenre did. Now they're basically running disaster management while deeply entangled in unsavory guild politics, with the romance being a distant promise on the backburner. Not quite what I expected, but since an anime is coming I'd like to see where this goes...
