@Katmaii First of all your incorrect. All he did was aggravate them. They had already planned this and due to her not accepting the marriage which would have basically been akin to a hostile company takeover they decided to attack them on this day. His presence there would probably not have changed anything except her accepting the marriage or declining it to her detriment.

@Siikalahna Its fine to criticize writers and how they tell stories but why are you so mad. There is no need to personally insult him, it only makes your arguments look bad. Instead criticize the writers choices. Im not trying to defend this work because I knew what i was getting by the fact that it was a Chinese Manwha. They very much follow tropes and similar conventions with minimal differences in both setting and writing quality. Also just because someones a bad writer doesnt mean they should find a "Better Job". After all writing is a job and if it pays his bills oh well. Whether the author wants to improve is up to them.

He has a BIT of an friendly relation to the little girl though. But he does not know she was kiddinap, as for now all he knows is that the lil girl is outside the family, and that the family is being attacked.

So he gives 0 fks, he dont even like'em.

@Katmaii I can see why someone wouldn't like it . For me however it all comes down to whether or not it makes sense in the story and for the character. As far as hes concerned he fulfilled his masters request and her family situation has nothing to do with him. He only takes care of the younger sister because he likes her and promised to. I assume he only helps the wife because shes his wife. However him not wanting to be a part of a squabble between 2 greater families does make some sense in my eyes. Did he become a part of the situation yes but at the end of the day this most likely would have happened with or without him so pinning the blame on him doesnt make much of a difference. He even made a note that the younger sister wasnt there so he wouldnt bother to defend the family. Which is a nice little detail in line with his character. We can agree to disagree because I feel this mostly comes down to personal opinion but I personally think the story so far has made sense (more than i can say for other manwha) and is in line with character motivations whether they be morally correct or not.
