like what a turd of a series! holy fucking shit! the brother got turned into an abuser literally last minute. all the build up with him drowning was basically for nothing. suddenly mc doesn't give a shit about sakurazawa and she doesn't even appear in the timeskip. unnecessary stalker/kidnapping drama in the very last chapter and this mofo gets away! not to mention that this is the only time the whole premise of the manga (exposing yourself online) was actually used since it was initially abandoned after like 2-3 chapters. just how much bs can you cram in one chapter with no resolution whatsoever?!
i just hope this dude focuses on fanservice in the future. and even better, just does art and leaves the story to someone else. cause the art is actually nice.

Thank you for completing this series and coming back to publish the remaining chapters here.

I knew this manga wouldn't last much longer after it was announced it was going to be a web exclusive manga only and now my fears were confirmed. It's a shame this series ended abruptly because I did enjoy reading the story and seeing MC trying to recover mentally. Hopefully, the author gives another shot in making a serious story in their next work.

Or make Gyaru Sen 2. I definitely wouldn't mind reading more chapters from that universe, lol.

Meguru sensei trying too hard to explore new thing ...in the end this series also was her experiment so she can see if she can include in her main series or not ...

Same like previous series

I say this series not axed by publisher...but by herself ....since this series don't really have actual plot

Yeah, this feels more like Meguru just got bored with this story or couldn't think of a way to flesh it out better so they just nipped it in the bud. We know for a fact that their editor won't shitcan a manga just because the story is meandering and treading water (Hajimete no Gal, Gyaru Sen) so the only real conclusion has to be Meguru themselves being done with it.

The brother being abusive would be fine if it was expanded more, but because we're just told that he was abusive without any reasoning or context it falls flat. What was his motivation for abusing his little sister? She looks are her chest after remembering him stabbing her with a pencil, was it sex related? Also the implication that the mole on her boob was a result of the pencil stab is kind of hilarious ngl. The mom was also not very developed, she clearly holds a grudge over "something" but everyone just keeps saying "oh she's always been a psycho bitch" including her husband while she's still in the fucking room. Why was she calling Akeno a slut? I'm fairly sure she wasn't aware of Akeno's erotic ALT account so where is that vitriol coming from? Did she know about the (possibly sexual) abuse the brother was levying against her and pulled the classic victim blaming behavior of calling the victim the slut for seducing her precious son?

In the rush to end the story Meguru introduces far too many new elements that just raise further questions. It makes me think that they had a storyboard of where they wanted the story to eventually lead but couldn't find a way to connect them in a satisfying way or just didn't feel like doing it. It's not a high bar but I honestly feel like this could have been an actual interesting drama for what we've seen of their other works. Feels weird to say this but there is such a missed opportunity and potential.

I don't know if it was axed or not, but even if it was this story was never supposed to be a long one. This is the 3rd side projects and they all are kinda "experimental", so to speak, I don't think any of them are meant to be long running, Gyaru Sen was relatively long, 81 chapters, but the Otaku no Tonari wa Elf desu ka? was also just 37 chapters.
So, if indeed this was axed, I believe it might have had just a couple more volumes anyway.

Man, its so depressing seeing a series with so much potential just fall like this. If this was given more time to actually develop, it would have been a great manga, it had good characters, it had good motivation for the characters to act the way that they do and it had reasons for the reader to feel for them but everything kind of just fell after the little vacation arc.

I'm not that evil, it's over already. The shadow is Mio.

To the creatures lurking in the depths of these forums, here's a banana as your consolation prize, and get lost, rats.

Now, to the good folks — let’s get back to Hajimete no Gal! I can already see another 100 chapters coming our way...
Axed so suddenly, it even make Venante come back here :D Thx for tl

I agree that this is an ending, and a rushed one at that. I was hoping this would go in a direction akin to Gal-sen, but I guess not.

Last few chapters felt so tropey I'm not surprised the author just used them all like a checklist

What? I was hoping for something else but wasted time building up the climax. Thanks for translating.

Damn. Rushed ending and the girl her ended up with is left ambiguous... So this got canned, huh. That's a shame. Felt like this story had other routes to follow:shamihuh:
