Suzuka's glasses changed from round to rectangular in the previous chapter. He also seem to have difficulty seeing things in this chapter. Page 9 spotting Goya from the photo, page 10 and 11 not seeing Kuchinashi's questions she wrote in her notebook until Kirisame prompted him.

My guess is Suzuka was the one who broke the sculpture, which relates to Goya's department and the victim Watahori. He is usually pretty careful, hence there were no evidence found at the scene. He then killed Watahori and somehow broke his glasses. When setting up the room he accidentally steppes on the paint tube due to the new glasses messing with his vision.

As for what was his motive, I think the person Goya was having an affair with was Watahori. Suzuka was the one disapproving of it and he killed Watahori and framed Goya.
Good find. It did occur to me that his gesture when repositioning his glasses might be a pointer (literally, he's pointing at himself), but it's just as unsubstantiated as the rest of the conjectures I mentioned. After all, he might have many reasons for putting on spares and whichever he gives, is rock solid as far as questioning goes (unless he was stupid enough to either leve the broken pair at the scene of the crime, or take it home, covered in paint, but that's a whole other dimension of stupid). There is nothing that solidly links him to the crime and the motive is super shaky - it was supposed to be common knowledge at school that the victim was outspoken about the affair thing, so if that was not the case, it would quickly come out that he was telling lies, when the police questioned some other people.

I wonder if she is a daughter of a detective or something? Could that be why it is her duty? Or is it she feels she owes her sensei?
