Shame in a ‘murder mystery’ manga EVERY case has to have a ‘we think it’s this… but it’s actually!” twist. Might be fun to sprinkle some cut and dry simple cases in there to keep readers guessing

I do like this manga a lot but MAN, so many murders! So many that it's a statistically anomaly: Japan has one of the lowest murder rates in the entire world. 2023 saw a total of 912 of recorded murders.

Conclusion: Kirisame's aura is causing all the murders.

Hope we get more of kirisame solving crimes tbh, as much as i love the quirky hyper intelligent girl, we haven't really gotten to see the actual detective doing a lot of detective work besides handing a person a letter and a bit more in that case if i remember correctly, thanks for the translation either way though

There was an early case in Detective Conan where the murder turns out to be a suicide, but the suicidee purposefully set it up in such a way to frame someone as the killer. That was simple but brilliant imo.

Myself, I would like to see these kinda stories handle a simple open and shut case.

What I've learned from reading mangas is that if I ever find myself in Conan's world, to stay the heck out of anywhere near him, be it place of residence or holiday resorts, because the possibility of getting murdered skyrockets otherwise...
