I dont think this end is necessarily bad but it does feel out of focus. People don't change easily and keeping it real is a fair point. But the only character that changed and brought closure to this story was the friend and she always felt like a side character. it's weird that the main plot ended in its obvious result but the secondary plot didn't so our attention is drawn there instead, yet I never saw her plot any more relevant than that of a side-character's.

overall, this was all pointless....i don't know how to explain it but it's not bad, it's just that i feel like i wasted my time. i don't even know where it all went wrong because it just felt the same throughout the entire story with no climax
