she didn't meet her uncle in the original story since she was kept home by the original MC against her will. Her uncle still went, but it never mentioned if he won the auction or not. What she is doing here is not keeping her trapped at home, not only allowing her to go but aiding her to get there as we see she had no way to get over the wall on her own anyway, and MC didn't trust her father being alone with Wei Qing Yu as he wants to emotionally black mail her and has already shown a propensity for violence when not getting his way
