Isnt't it P-Man? Not Peeman for obvious reason.
I remember watching the anime and reading some of the localized manga and it was titled as P-Man.

The official name is Perman, as stated in Chapter 1. The name comes from Superman. For the anime, if you listen to the ending theme, it even has the line "Take the Su out of Superman, and you get Perman."
That being said, it was localized as P-Man in Indonesia, from what I understand.
