Is Elincia a reincarnater who knows about how the story originally went or did she also have a book that told a potential future. cause she is acting weird, like she's trying to forcibly get the story back on track without looking evil. also at this point it's obvious the story hasn't been going to end the way the book told it for a long time unless some out side force like god or something forcibly makes it so it ends the same way. i understand that she read the book and was incredibly worried about her fate but at this point there should be more then enough reason for her to start thinking maybe the book is wrong since the fact that she hasn't been acting the way the book said she acted for a long time. since the moment someone sees a detailed story about how something that happens to them is never going to be true since while the past is set in stone the future is ever changing heck even seeing what will happen in a day can end up being radically different since you already know what happens, unless it's something like a stroke or something similar that you can't control with in the time of the event happening and learning about the event.

to be fair they are no reincarnator so that whole thinking outside the box is really really hard for them, to their knowledge that was a PROPHECY book and not a story about a future so being stressed is very common and understandable, specially at that early age it gnaws at your sanity to be thinking like an adult that, regarding to a prophecy, knows she is going to die so irrationality is bound to happen
