drop some philosophical book here and talk about it in general.
I'll start

Plato: The Republic, The Dialogues
Nietzche : Thus Spoke Zarathustra, The Will to power, Untimely Considerations, Twilight on the idols.

that's all for me, for now (currently getting trought the will to power in audiobook form, I highly recommend Zarathustra, if any of you want to know what an übermench would be. Plato and his republic is all about forming a near perfect society. it's all surprisingly easy to get trought)

I also recently read “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”, and I have to say that the way Nietzsche presented the idea of the Übermensch really made me rethink about personal values and life goals. As for Plato, I found “The Republic” not only a social theory but also opened up many perspectives on justice and the role of each individual in society. Do you find that these ideas still have a clear influence on the way we think about society today?
I hope that I will use it in the future in my own blog: among us online

personally, I think that they're bound to spring back up, as egalitarianism continues dropping in popularity and democratic government not only keep getting compromised but keep on slowly failing all the while only serving as a form of crude tyrany. it's only a matter of time before any anti democratic movement not only gain power but start forming legitimate states.

personally, I think that even should any of the direct threats most western government enknowledge, it will fall no matter what, simply because of the way they're set up. now, what will succeed thel, is what I'm more interested in. eitheir way, I do think it will be some form of dictatorial government.

lawyers don't want you to know this, but so long as Theseus recognizes the ship as belonging to him, it's still the same ship. :02:

Eh, so it's not about longing but belonging?
correct, so long as the ship continues behaving like the class of ship it is, all the while looking like the original, it hasn't meaningfully changed enough. thus, it continues to still be the original ship for all intents and purposes.

But what if Theseus want to upgrade it little by little?
