I don't normally enjoy the series with the MC who is the "hard man making hard choices", but this one is just too good. It strikes the right balance of doing what it takes to survive without feeling like the MC is being an edgelord for no reason.

ok well this isn't very fair, aaron still managed to create a situation in which if they WERE human they could cooperate and if they weren't his (very obviously) superior teammates were in a position to help
