There's always a weird disconnect when reading a Japanese manga chapter about explicitly Japanese things, cause the translation to English either has to hinge on the reader's knowledge of basic Japanese things such as language structure, or the translation has to explain it all for it to make sense. In that regard, I'd say this chapter was done well.
