Actually our terminal velocity is about 200~ km/h, so it actually wouldn't be a splat. It would certainly not be pretty at all however, it'd be about the same as victims flung from high speed car crashes

Depends on how high they floated. If they floated up to the stratosphere, and didn't fall belly-down but missile fashion, higher speeds are possible. But yeah, in this insane series, why keep track of insanity?
