I'm pretty sure it totally isn't finished although I think it's getting fairly close. So I changed it.
Incidentally, this is a great series. I love Nakahara Aya's stuff ever since my undying fandom for Lovely Complex, but some of her stuff since has been . . . well, good, but not as good as her best, you know? But this is the series where I feel like Nakahara-sensei got her groove back. Maybe it's the shift to an adult story, I dunno, but the comedy works, the characters and their interactions are great, the dialogue clicks in that patented Nakahara Aya snappy dialogue way, I'm loving it.

@Ghede: The series is finished but the scanlation isn't. The normal convention at all manga readers I have ever spent time at is that "completed" refers to complete scanlation, not to publication status. This is not "completed" in terms of scanlation if you look at Manga Updates and that also agrees with my experience following it at Batoto until the recent upheaval.

It has 10 volumes total, so not many left. Phoenix Serenade is on hiatus, though, so we're in for a little wait.

Holy! This manga is full of abusive, unhealthy relationships. That's the initial premise, yes (i.e. Shibata's relationship with the university student), but after reading 25 chapters, it just gets worse... I can't read any more.
