Unfortunately for Jernen, Seria is an awful correspondent, since she routinely forgets to reply.
The translators seem to be super hung up on Jernen; it helps that he's single, handsome, wealthy, capable, and has a good personality to boot. And since he was still single at the age of 35 in the previous timeline… But fret not, unlike all too many cases, the author did not neglect him: his reasons for remaining single were hinted at in the previous few chapters. Additionally,

Jernen does get together with someone during the epilogue, and they're just as sweet together as Seria and Kardi. Here's a hint about his future wife: she's someone the emperor specifically ordered/forced Kardi to kill in the previous timeline.
