My Chinese sucks too, but I'm pretty sure Nuwa would write "中國語" instead of "中国語", which is a mix of simplified and traditional Chinese characters, unless she's writing Japanese.

Came here to go ??? about this yeah. But the full title is, like, "intro level Chinese", and "Chinese" is phrased in a way which IMO no Taiwanese person would say in the first place, so I kind of assumed that if it's not just the author making a mistake, it must have been a textbook written in Japanese for Japanese-speakers who wanted to learn Chinese. Any JP readers want to weigh in?
