The author's so out of ideas, he's included a recap of the last chapter, which itself is missing 1/3 of the last chapter's content, to pad out this chapter.

Assuming the cubes are approximately 2 feet on a side and made of essentially pure iron, each one weighs just under 2 tons. The whole stack of 32 cubes would then weigh almost 63 tons.

This us where I caught up with the rest of the series. Mito and Yumesaki really doesn't have much going for it other than "she's cute" and "he's helpful." Its like they only bring up Mito's bad stare when it conveniences the story, which is just lazy. And ofc Amesaka is just going to be a heartbreak, I was  really looking forward to her as a side friend, maybe joining in on the investigations of Yumesaki's powers. Instead the author wants to relish in the fact two people with common interests and backgrounds will never get together. Really its disappointing too since we know far more about Mito through Amesaka than we ever did through Yumesaki. Eh, so is life
