So it doesn't seem like a power that would stop an asteroid, but hear me out: Ponkotsu-chan, feeling totally scared and nervous that the asteroid will hit and she won't be able to do anything about it, hits the asteroid with her emotions. Full of fear and anxiety, the asteroid turns tail and leaves.
Potential problem: She instead makes it fall in love with Mito-kun and it charges towards him.
