Hey folks!
Right now the behaviour of the reader is to load 3 to 20 images, according to a setting. This is a nifty feature. One thing I noticed, though, is that if you are looking for something going back through the chapters those preloads only go forward.
Example:
You are going backwards through the chapters of a manga, looking for something. You reach the first page of the chapter, then go back once more, thus reaching the last page of the previous chapter. At this point the reader will load one page at a time, the current page.
Suggestion:
If the reader has loaded all available pages forward, it should proceed to load the images that came before the current page, closest ones first, taking the preload limit into account.
I can confirm I did not find a similar suggestion in the Mangadex Suggestions Megathread.
Cheers.
