This was a pretty big tonal shift, but I think the story is trying to say that revenge fantasies are stupid. The desire for revenge made everyone's life worse. Sure, it was mostly the organization's fault, but nobody is without blame, they all made their choices.
But now, after all the pointless and contrived revenge set ups, it seems like its time to for the cast to get their real revenge on the people who actually caused their suffering.
Or maybe the author got cold feet or something, I dunno.

i think it's a good manga but the becoming "stronger" part is stupid. he is getting bullied by 2 or 3 people. I mean what fucking transition to strong is the bitch looking for? for him to fight back? cause he obviously can't do that.

This series is hot dog shit. The writing is bad, the art is bad, there's not even a redeeming element of self awareness like in that series about the kid who's being bullied into bullying. Both Aito's are the most ridiculous characters I've ever seen. Who in their right mind would torture and kill someone just for bullying dude? Like, I get it, ya'll had a rough couple years from this shit but how does that give you the right to brutally torture and kill someone?

@Goodfuckery While I agree with you on some points you are making it sound like it was light bullying. "Just for bulling" They were psychologically and physically tortured with how aggressive and violent the bullying was to them. While the young Aito's salvation was ripped away from him at the start of the bullying because his only real friend (and crush) that he thought cared about him, got a whole lot of people to fuck with him EVERY single day by lying on him. Older Aito thought he could bear all the bad shit that happened to him BECAUSE he had a light of hope ( the eldest sister) but then has is viciously ripped away when he learns that she is the person who orchestrated all the hatred for him in the first place. While the writing is complete shit, you cant just treat the bullying like it was someone bumping into you or throwing your text books out of your hand.

@Cyrenius It's nowhere near bad enough to come close to justifying their actions though. They're not getting revenge at that point, they're just fucking sick and twisted with the shit they do. I think what happened to the Aito's suck, but also I think it's something you can get over without needed some revenge plot from a serial killer's journal.

@Goodfuckery Most of the Serial killers in our world today, they had a history of some sort of physical and or psychological abuse. I do not think it is as far fetched to hate someone so much when they completely fuck up your life AND you are all alone. Younger Aito never really told anyone he was getting bullied and im pretty sure no one gave a shit. Older Aito snapped harder because he had someone who was his rock but that rock was a fucking snake. So while I don't think there ever should be a time to condone murder. I can see why they would want to kill someone.

Goddamn that power thing has me heated. This chapter was mostly cheeks, but specifically page 21 and onward can suck itself off. The earlier chapters of this manga would get me so hype for the next, but now I kind of unenthusiastically say to myself "huh, a new chapter is out. I'll read it later."
