I wonder if i should feel honoured to witness the 9 hour mark

As for my in hindsight terrible guess at the plot:
1. The protag seems to have little to no control of the world around them.
2. The protag seems to actively (though uselessly) fight against the god.
3. The name of the stories is called "The gods source of entertainment".
Thus the plot is probably about the god putting the protag in more and more interesting and varied situations whilst the protagonist fruitlessly attempt to escape.

I have seen far dumber and crazier stuff than this.

oh yeah definitely, heck Elliot and Tedd look like completely different characters if you compare their 2002 and 2024 selfs
