So now we got a little clue about marking in MC hands. I bet the one who gave that mark was the golden crown.

Now I'm waiting explanation about MC inner demon and the swords origin.

I think the MC's inner demon is his past life, so those markings is probably that inner demon's sins. The landowner said it's their last chance, so he probably reincarnated multiple times. I'm curious about his connection to the red head girl though. Is the reason he hated and wanted to kill specters so much because she died in their hands? If so, it's ironic that he almost killed her (even though he showed he's not interested in killing her if she did not insist).

@Winterspring Interesting theory, but rather than "inner demon" I felt that the guy inside Jaesin is someone (or something) else from Jaesin that just wants to kill spectres. I'm fairly certain that Jaesin was attracted by the other guy's offer to give him power, which led to Jaesin becoming a vessel. So I think that Jaesin and the "inner demon" are two separate entities. And I actually feel like his markings are different, but similar, to those things. As seen in one of the earliest chapters, he gets the markings from a "fortune teller" and I believe those markings have actually helped him before. (I can't remember exactly when though I think it was when he just moved in?).

TL;DR - "inner demon" =/= actually his inner demon, is a separate entity from Jaesin
markings =/= same markings as those things

I could be entirely wrong though and you could be right, this is just my assumption

Also, red head girl...?

That "fortune teller" could've been as unreal as those glasses that disappeared. It's possible they were always there and he hid it from himself like he did the power of those "glasses." Those markings have helped him at least three times before this: 1) to drive off that bird specter and free those kids from the painting, 2) pull that guardian dog out of the long neck specter, and 3) neutralize those "dolls" that swallowed those people. That's just the stuff I remember. I think it did some other stuff too. And I'm not even counting how the entity inside him used the markings to annihilate Gomok's wood attacks. It's possible those markings are a seal, like a jinchuuriki's seal in Naruto, for sealing the entity inside him and allowing him to use its power at the same time.

Judging from future chapters,
I feel like those markings were something that belonged to him previously, in his previous life of sorts. And that the "fortune teller" simply returned it to him.
So yeah, I think you could be right about the fortune teller. But 100% I disagree with the phrasing "inner demons",
although I do agree with the previous user that it's related to his past life
.

I'm also a little hesitant about it being a seal. As future chapters (chapters ahead of 46) indicate,
the markings seem to be something that characterized or was a part of his past life. So to call it a seal doesn't see to fit.
