I like how Takahashi-sensei's work seems grounded in queerness without sacrificing the tone of her work. Like in this one, the reference to the legality of same-sex marriage. In some other bl or yuri works, they're glossed over in favour of mood and atmosphere or the topics override them if they are brought up.
