Obviously not familiar with Korean law, but couldn't Pyo just waive his right to a trial? He voluntarily turned himself in and pretty everything he confessed to has been verified, so why even go through the pretense of a trial when he obviously doesn't want one?

I did like that Chunbae tried to talk him out of it and said he'd take all the heat and apologized for everything he helped Dalho with, even if it's too little too late.
