read up to around 100 or so, and the story lost 90% of it's 'game' aspect and just.. kids beating kids down, repeatedly... There's another 50 chapters here, does anyone who's read it, know if it's just another 50 chapters of violence with a random "card randomly appears and saves the day" ... or does the story evolve past just beating others down for no other sake then to just beat them.

most is technically a spoiler, read if you want, but no it progresses somewhat but the fighting is very present.

it does somewhat improve, he starts to attack the northern high, and there he still fights, but there is finally character progression, and then it becomes more fixated on stats (for good or bad). To summarize, it's still very much people vs people, but the heroine actually has a real goal now to "unify".

the new chapters from 159-??? is basically an excuse to duplicate the story exactly from the start, but it's the story of the main villain

It was exciting when he was unifying the south, but the formula "I'm losing, so I'll get a huge power-up and defeat this guy who's way stronger than me" was so overused that the outcome became predictable. Sohyoon's fight are just "I actually have this card so I can defeat you with it." when he said he overly relied on his cards before the 2-months time skip, THEN he still heavily relied on the cards.

159-170 is just the story of Choyun. You don't have to read it because it just shows how he came into power. But bits of how he did it already happened along the previous chapters. Like Daniel seeing Choyun draining Sechan and the girl becoming his cloud copy. The only surprising was him killing one of the executives and make a cloud copy of him.
