As someone who's caught up with the raws I truly empathize with you, scanlator, over how harshly the readers treated Ena when she was first introduced. Knowing how awesome and lovable she is and seeing her being dragged through the mud stung. She is by far my favorite character even as of the latest chapter.

To be honest, I don't think anyone really hated Ena, we just made fun of her for the way she appeared at first glance, but when we were told her backstory, everyone empathized with her or at least I did xdd

I mean, it's not hard to not hate Ena anymore when her being a brainrotted zoomer with negative attention span stopped being a thing halfway through her arc, or at the very least stopped being as exaggerated as during those first few chapters.

I remember wondering back then how the author would pull off making such a character likeable and of course the solution was "tone down that annoying stuff hard and then throw a sympathetic backstory on top".
