Asics beats everyone else, I've been using asics shoes for like 20 years now.
They've gotten really expensive though.

Wholly blame the hype beasts for that one. They started as a classic school trainer in japan, really got traction from that, branched out to make asics as their rebranded "basic" life wear shoes and onitsuka became their fashion/street wear line. But bec of hype beasts they both ended up doing the same thing becoming street wear brands, asics being mostly trainers and more modern shoes and onitsuka carrying their other shoe types (boots for example) and more classic shoes.

Tbf their shoes don't price up too much in the secondary market, but I dunno if it'll stay that way
