I love carrots. But people who insist that this or that food is simply delicious, as if it must be delicious for everyone, are perverts full stop.
Most foodstuffs contain small amounts of toxins and, generally speaking, people repelled by the taste or smell of a given foodstuff are more sensitive to the toxins found in that foodstuff. In the case of carrots, the toxin to which they are sensitive is likely to be furanocoumarin.
