i love how compelling and thougtful this manga is. Every character feels like a fully realized person. I hope everything works out for Bojji and his friends.

Bojji can read lips so she's probably just mouthing her words instead of vocalizing them. It's effectively the same thing for Bojji.

It's frustratingly stupid she doesn't explain herself and he doesn't just listen to Kage but it is realistic, the levels of pettiness or biases determining our actions while still holding to our core principles. Ruul is an idiot but I can still respect him for what he is and if I was in his shoes I'd probably be inclined to do the same too.
