React spam cannot be blocked if someone restricts their profile. Please fix.

Don't care if they want to keep profile private, we at least should be able to access the interaction buttons that allow us to ignore/unignore someone regardless of the private status of the profile. If all they do is spam out reactions, there aren't any posts for you to bring up the mini-forum popout that lets you do that from a thread directly, since clicking on reactions and then the person just leads to their main profile page.

The solution is simple, look up his username. If he has at least one post, you can go to his post and ignore him

Hmm, can't really find anyone with a private profile at a moments notice but, what if you try grab their profile url and add ignore to the end manually? like https://forums.mangadex.org/members/username.numbers -> https://forums.mangadex.org/members/username.numbers/ignore

Unless of course they've actually posted somewhere and you can just look them up in the search like Esor said

Edit: oh, missed another obvious thing, you can get the profile popout in the alerts window (or page)

Unfortunately, these accounts I'm referring to have 0 posts prior, even if they were made years and years ago (oldest one I've dealt with like this was from 2016, some from 2018 too). These accounts look like they were created just to reaction spam, to be quite honest. But thank you for the reasonable responses, as I did not provide that information in my initial post. I did not know you could hover over their names in notifications to get that pop-up; that in fact did the trick! I still think that it should be accessible via the profile page even if they are set to private, though.

Weirdly enough, there are some accounts made for reaction spam and it's annoying, happened once before to me too.
Sometimes, it might just be a user who doesn't post at all and just wants to spam reactions to your posts.
Hope ignoring it is enough. lol

Sounds like a front end oversight. Maybe a bug to fix?

Apparently after looking into why it does that, it's something that XenForo did deliberately back in 2010...??? And it got a lot of criticism back then, too, at least from what I saw briefly.
