Reading progress error ?

Same thing is happening for me, I thought it was a client side issue but relogging, restarting my computer and clearing cache etc. doesnt seem to work so I presume it's a MangaDex side thing.

Image servers which are separate from the Mangadex server are working fine. (my testing proved it, don't ask how. I just did it) The problem is with the main server. Get a database error or no chapters here message. Wait a bit, (ie: longer than it takes to click again) and try again.

If Mangadex is under DOS attack again, flare is not coping. Hammering will not fix the issue only make it worst. If the problem is in the server, hammering WILL DEFINITELY MAKE IT WORST.
If possible come back later, the issue maybe fixed. If the problem is not fixed, we have to wait a little longer. Bitching is only going to OFF THE ADMINS and PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING ON IT.
Patience is required. If you want to help. Just ditto "Same here". So others get an idea how long it has been.

It's a term used to describe hitting something over and over. ie: Hammer and a nail.
But doing it to a server is bad. In effect if enough people "Hammer the server." You will only contribute to the problem. One way to hammer a server by DDOS is to have a ton of bots request the main page over and over as fast as possible. And never respond to the answer. Something like when the kids keep saying "Are we there yet ?"
And things are worst then before. Soon if this keeps up, it will be like a few months back.
