That letter reminded me of episode 10 of Violet Evergarden. Both including parents, which explains a lot why I teared up here too. This is such a great read, I've found the series only yesterday and binged all 239 chapters in two days. I love the meme and the effort you translators put through, though I think I'll be pretty pissed with the constant wait if I were to found this series sooner, lol.
