Hm I feel like thick headed might be make fitting than thick skinned? Unless it means something diff in Korean/specifically a Korean term that’s diff from the “thick skin means you’re tough emotionally” rather than him being ignorant/bold /selfish?

I wonder how common it is to see someone generationally wealthy at a “normie” casino versus some VIP one I guess if they’re that rich it wouldn’t matter but you’d think they’d be raised to be careful/limit themselves since they might get flak from relatives I have heard some rich ppl can be cheapskates otherwise tho

Yeah, neither thick skinned (more like tough emotionally) or thick headed (more like slow-ish stubborn/stupid) is perfectly suitable, afaik it's more like they're "do-whatever-it-takes stubborn" and basicly don't give up until they realize that it will really hurt them (and even then they'd consider it if it hurts their opponent more), I don't think there's a really good substitute in english.

eh well overall it's not like the translation is a bad mtl so luckily it's not too confusing with terms like all the 'actor' webtoons call the talented ppl "blue chips" which apparently is a poker term but even if it wasn't korean exclusive i imagine most ppl wouldn't have heard of it unless you happen to also be into poker/gambling to begin with lol

but it is wild to see 'rich' ppl be 'delusional' i guess b/c they never experienced true hardships (sometimes it's easy to forget MC was technically reborn too despite it being in the title lol), it would def make for a wild k drama b/c i can see it being fitting/happening , cept maybe the reincarnation thing tho i wouldn't be surprised if there were some with those elements
