Agree, but works like Stepmother's friends has warped our perception that pronhwas could have any good attributes aside "art".

Someone walking in to cockblocking MC is definitely a manga/JP trope if there ever was one.... but they don't even show any reaction. It just cut to them hanging on the sidewalk. Almost makes me wonder if a page is missing?
