I've been noticing recently that a screencap from the anime adaptation has been spreading around as a meme. How unfortunate. From what I saw of just the adaptation alone, I quite liked it. A shame that like Sasuke and, previously, Fighbird, it's now become the subject of ridicule, even in Japan, as opposed to being to traded around, discussed, and admired.

Whether it ever breaks out of that, like the Devilman manga or Kagurabachi, I am uncertain, doubtful even.
