OK so I wasn’t going crazy. Because honestly, the champion felt like he has vibes more similar to Aoba than Kenshin. When I went back to read his match it felt less like he stat checked the guy like Kenshin does and moreso like he used R1 to analyze and find openings. And then used Round 2 to finally punish the opponent for those mistakes.
