For readability:
The editor's note about the flaming water being translated as black water and then pointing out it's oil is a bit incorrect.
It's a mistake since it's most likely a correction by the translator using the chinese equivalent of the korean words.
In the context of the story it is more correct to use Flaming Water, because the item description and usage is a monster core base on wuxia and xianxia chinese stories.
