It seems I'm unable to load pictures from some chapters unless I use a VPN. It would make sense if it was all the chapters but it's some of them.

In the past I used to get the same problem but it was fixed by just changing the server once, but since a few weeks, changing the server does nothing.

As far as I know Mangadex doesn't block manga on a country by country basis. Your government blocked it perhaps?

You may need to force MDatH to use port 443.

Try changing your DNS servers, using a VPN or disabling any web filters you have, we've had lots of issues recently with ISPs forcing McAfee's filtering onto home connections and injecting their certificate into blocked sites, which causes browsers to throw an error.

And if we were going to region block chapters there'd be a big obvious error message, not a slow timeout.
