I’m really happy some level of progression happened in their relationship. Before this and the last chapter it really felt like this was gonna be a very slow burn where they may never get close, but luckily it seems they’re starting to make a connection.

Glad I didn’t drop this, I hope it continues in this direction rather then taking a step back for a stupid reason just to try to be comedic.

As volume 4 is out now and this is the first chapter of volume 3 does anyone know if the tl team will be releasing more often moving forwards to catch up with raws or is it going to stay at once every few weeks?

I'm glad to see that neither of these people is perfect. Glen is powerful, but he can be oblivious to things that don't catch his immediate attention. While Elfinia, for as smart as she is, still has moments where her preconceived notions affect her actions and attitude towards others. This quote on quote 'date' was just what they needed to talk things out a bit to clear the air.

The consequences of owning a harem have run its course, it seems. Those other girls may not even be seeking love and affection from the emperor, either, just enough time with him to gain some favor for them to gloat at the other girls, or if they have some decency, have political talks to help the countries they come from prosper. Very shallow and cold, respectively, but expected in political marriages.
