it comes from the meme/fact that in the bible, certain types of angels like Seraphim, Cherubim, Ophanim are described as non- humanoid. Cherubim are described to have 4 animal heads. Seraphim have 6 wings that cover their entire body. Ophanims are described as wheels with eyes and a shining radiance.

Causing illustrations like these:

So in the manga, the child who turns into a giant furry blob with many eyes and 6 wings is likely an interpretation of a Seraphim or some other play on biblically accurate angels
