She defeated her opponent and she was still able to stand up after being shot, and also dodged multiple shots during the fight too

...She had to literally have her guts pushed back into her torso and be healed by Nana (this "you had to have your guts put back into your body" line was even in the WN). Everyone acknowledged that she would've been dead as hell at the end of that duel.

Yes, and? They couldn't kill each other, of course in this situation a gun is way more dangerous
She still defeated her opponent, which means she didn't lose, if she could she would've killed him right there
Also Carter shot her head which was forbidden but no one said anything because she dodged (she got the usual small scratch on her face)

I think "you were literally going to die and parts of you were outside of you" is a bit more indicative than what happened to Carter.

And here, in Chapter 108, Carter did shoot at her head but missed, and they even made the fight look more "close"
