this was caused by mc being mc I guess, I would understand he was stuck doing his own thing so he didnt realized the external factors but the place he seized from enemies which is a frontline and which has been captured once already still isnt the place for the main army ? and the man responsible for that place is basically a trader ? he is lucky that place wasnt burnt down or all the people live in it turned against him...
