Well, there's the character who's emotionally dumb! 😂
And it's so funny to me how in Japan highschoolers/minors with earrings is considered to be such a hardcore/flashy thing. In my country girls have their ears pierced while still babies. A girl without earrings in High School would be the different one. Recently, a lot of boys started to use it too. It's something so normal we don't even put "earrings" in the same categorie as "piercings".
Ah, how I love cultural differencies. ~
That made me remember of the time I pierced two more earrings in each ear when I was in my third year of HS (have three in each now). Doesn't hurt much right in the moment but starts to feel like it's burning some hours later, as demonstrated by Dense-kun.

it’s only been 20ish chapters and the chemistry between all of the characters is SO good, yayoi sou did such an amazing job

Like Yoake said, Kaizaki really is good at getting along with people easily even if he himself finds himself normal
