Just read this, and here is a few things I noticed:

1. This is actually one of the better MC, not sure if he can keep this up, but for now, I don't see why MC is getting hate he has been getting by a quite a number of readers. Like, the whole misunderstanding got solved 2/3 in chapter 1 by MC himself, it's the childhood friend who decided to add another misunderstanding to the mix, not MC, so why is he getting hate on?

2. The childhood friend went for possibly the worst route, she could've just.... told him she like him, but no, but then again, a veteran reader should have already be too familiar with this trope

3. I, for some reason get a strong feeling that FMC's little brother is not.... a brother, but a sister. I don't know why, just a hunch, but if it turn out to be correct, I can claim that I was correct from the first chapter.

Yeah, she's very much the female lead here. Lots of characterization, the reason behind the male lead's way of acting, pushes the story forward by forcing supplemental classes, is chasing after the brother as part of the story conceit.... She's on the cover, is the focus of the intro page, and got the black box treatment. I think she's our girl.
