I don't know, I'm convinced that they both have DID and it's just that they both have different personalities or maybe it is just some supernatural aspect to the story. Every time I read a chp. and at the end with the girl laying on the water and another copy of the girl slightly faded, it just seems to me that maybe its her alternate personality and its all just in their heads, but that doesn't explain why it's happening to the other mc as well. Do they both have DID or is it some supernatural stuff going on.I admit I am still pretty lost as to how the replicas came to be.
I guess magic?
Interesting theory there.I don't know, I'm convinced that they both have DID and it's just that they both have different personalities or maybe it is just some supernatural aspect to the story. True True...makes me think that it might just all be a mental disorder but...I could be wrongInteresting theory there.
As far as my terrible memory remembers, no outsider has ever seen them physically next to their replicas in person.
Only they have seen the replicas.
Hmmm...
We need someone that is not either of the protags to actually see them side by side to their replicas to get confirmation that they are real.True True...makes me think that it might just all be a mental disorder but...I could be wrong
well it is a supernatural tag and not psychological so i guess it's not all in their heads (dunno if the light novel? makes i t more clearer tho)I admit I am still pretty lost as to how the replicas came to be.

seems unnecessary to send the other 'away' if they can be willed away on purpose unless the parents took pity or soIt's supernatural.
There's another replica in their school. This person first created her replica when she is younger (like Sunao), to replace her in a school play she doesn't want to do. But she changed her mind, chasing her replica (who is already on her way to school with her mother).
This person's parents saw both of them, so she can't hide her replica like Sunao or Shuuya.
The parents then decide to raise both separately. The replica is sent to live with her grandparents, and never met her original again ever since. Until the original is in coma and so her parents call the replica back to took their daughter's place until graduation.
Replica can be recreated even after they got blown to pieces. All their memories until the moment they "die" is intact.
But it doesn't work the other way. If the original die, replica will disappear. So replica will never be able to replace their original.
The problem there is, they don't understand. Compared to the other, Sunao should be the most knowledgeable because she and Nao tried many things in attempt to understand, although they give up and just accept things as it is.i suppose so but i imagine a kid could quickly will one away and claim that they can't do it again.
Honestly I hate that BS where they say that doing the same thing the villain does makes you the same...
It's not the action that's wrong it's the reason for the action...
Punching a person in self-defense and punching a person just to believe them are different.
Locking up a person that's innocent for no reason is not the same as putting a rapist in prison....
If you want to use that logic, then you have to properly use that logic... And in that case anything is wrong.
The reason for the action isn't innocent either. This is revenge, plain and simple.Honestly I hate that BS where they say that doing the same thing the villain does makes you the same...

The point here is that Aki-kun has no reason to harm the other dude. This isn't HIS revenge. He would only be doing it because he's following Aki-kun original's orders. That's just fucked up. Even if the bad guy deserves it, Aki-kun shouldn't be the one dirtying his hands. That's the whole point.Honestly I hate that BS where they say that doing the same thing the villain does makes you the same...
