Yeah even without the success there's been manga and live action plots of parents-relatives hounding some charas for money, it happens a lot in those "get rich quick" webtoons

I think one series I read had this terrible ex wife also make a tell all book like "I was the villainess" and the mc didn't rly care enough to stop her
